Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Upon completion, the student should be able to demonstrate a personal view of the world, creativity, conceptualness, organizational skills, general scholarship and a view of other arts disciplines.

Mode of study:

Moderated and un-moderated discussions, proposal screenplay and shooting material analysis, screenings of completed films.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Students must demonstrate knowledge in the field of film, theatre, literature, music, creative arts and as well a personal creative orientation.

Course contents:

Each student is to develop their individual view of the world, their „poetry“. This uniqueness should not be confused with egotism and passive obstinancy.

Individual exercises become the foundation for the investigation of an authentic film language. Exercises arising in each phase is equally important and the same emphasis will be placed on each.
