Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Dramaturgy collaboration between the instructor and the student on the literature basis of the student's film (particularly the bachelor's film) in 3rd year studies.

Mode of study:

Moderated and non-moderated discussions; subject analysis, screenplay and shooting material; screenings of completed films.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

This course is linked to the instruction workshop by Martin Marček (1st year), where the students encounter the fundamentals of how to write the literary basis for a documentary film.

Course contents:

Winter semester content is the topic of the documentary film - Bachelor's film, the result of the summer semester is the script of the documentary film - bachelor's film. The topic and script (detailed and defined) must start with developing the literary basis such that the variable intent contains: what (film topic), how (form), why (personal and social motivation), with whom (film figures), where (location), when (summer and daytime), structure (film framework) and example of sequencing (how the film should look).
