The aim of the module is to expand students' knowledge of film festivals and their key positions in contemporary cinematography. Festivals, over the last 15 years, have developed new tools, which take part in defining trends from the beginning of teh development of the film's subject and have significantly entered into project financing. The Festival section of the industry has become a continual review of pre-selected intentions and their success or failure is reflected in the potential further financing through co-productions arising from those events. Participation or results of these forums are being considered more and more by key institutions, primarily funding institutions.
