Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The aim of the course is to prepare Documentary Dept. students for working with sound in group exercises. Team work is emphasized.

Mode of study:

Presentation of the instructors experience, analysis of descriptive examples, discussion about the potential sound implementation of the prepared motif.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Completion of the course „Introduction to Sound Design“ and completion of the Winter semester practical. Consultations are based on the screenplay exercise.

Course contents:

This course develops knowledge and experience acquired in the introduction to the Sound trade. These will be needed in the Winter semester for fulfilling the practical and in the 1st year Summer semester for the implementation of the required Documentary Dept. practical.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Credit is awarded based on active participation and evaluation of the review test of knowledge acquired.
