Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Demostrate theory and practical professional unquestionable ability to manage the color in a film image and conceptually guide the emotive part of the film, such that the gradual color development is reflected in the literary structure of the previous film history.

Mode of study:

Explication and exercise assignment, shooting and finishing.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

General cultural education and sensitivity to the world of color around us. Complete passion for the cameraman profession in relation to the concept of a film work as a whole.

Part of „Color cinematography“.

Course contents:

The student should demonstrate the ability to apply the inherent rules of color relationships for expressing a given event. The student should select the topic form where the emotional element would be more strongly applied than described and their personal stance and manner of aesthetic partiality is displayed. Preferred is a dramatic approach which distinctively expressed the conflict of an event rather than a lyric or epic approach. Subject matter and concept selection and their development are consulted with the instructor.
