Learning outcomes of the course unit:

To demonstrate theory and practical professional unambiguous skill in managing the color of the film image and conceptually guid the emotional tone of the film so that the gradual color development is reflected in the literary construction of the film text.

Mode of study:

Explication and exercise assignment, shooting and finishing of the Color Etude.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

General cultural education and sensitivity to the world of color around us. A complete passion for the camera profession in relation to the concept of a film work as a whole - part of color cinematography.

Course contents:

The student should be able to demonstrate the ability to apply the inherent rules of color relationships for expressing given situational events. The student should select the topic form where a stronger emotional element may be applied than is described and their position and manner of aesthetic passion is manifested. The drama approach which significantly expresses the coflict of the situation is preferred over a lyric or epic approach. The subject matter selection and concept of its processing will be consulted with the instructor.
