Being a part of the main seminar of the first year’s master program, this course is an essential part of the cinematography student’s education.

Basic experience as cinematographers, ability to handle essential filmmaking tasks.
Successful completion of the seminar Cinematographer s Workshop.
- Course contents:

“tonality tests and basic studio lighting” - 35mm b/w film in studio
Basic motion picture lighting in studio;
grey chart test shots, exposure and tonality tests;
Creating of essential atmospheres through lighting: day, evening, night.
2 film prints: basic and graded
