The aim of this masterclass is to extend the horizons in the context of french cinematography and also to have an insight look into the filming process and style of Agnes Godard.

Masterclass with DOP Agnes Godard -
A Masterclass will take place as a moderated meeting with a cameraman and commenting on clips from her films. The Masterclass will be on the 7th of June, starting at 4 p.m. in Kino35 (French Institute) and a workshop will be on the 6th of June, starting at 10 a.m.
During the workshop , the participants will be able to assist a real shooting. Agnes Godard will show them how to compose a small etude – master plan. The participants will receive a short script prior consider how they would film it themselves. Students will have the unique opportunity to see how Agnes Godard works on the spot, using natural light and composition.
The Masterclass takes place as a part of the Cinematographer days (in cooperation with the Camera Department FAMU, IFP, Ostrava Kamera Oko).
