Common creative concept of film characters by make-up artist and costume designer.

Course contents:

Instructors demonstrate to students in practice how a costume designer puts together costumes according to characters, what information is shared with the make-up artist and how their collaboration will take place. As examples they have selected their last film collaboration from the „Zahradnictví“ trilogy, „Rodinný přítel“ and will creat film characters from the post-war period. Also they will demonstrate make-up skills such as, 'aging', 'young characters', light special effects such as 'scratches', 'bruises', etc.
