Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Adopt and awareness of the cameraman profession related to common cameraman practices.

Mode of study:

Presentation of instructor experience, moderated discussion, analyses of screenings which overlap into the regular work of the cameraman.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Ability and desire to manage issues which require introducing new production tools in to cameraman practice.

Course contents:

Scientific and Instructional films, filming in the surgery theatre, micro- and macro-cinematography in opthamology and neuro-surgery, x-ray cinematography, echo- and sonograms, infra- and ultra-kinematography, shooting in a mine, mill or glass factory, working in extreme climate conditions, special effects done with the camera, split-screen, multi-exposure, forward projection, reflector, semi-permeable reflector, prisms, fly-leaf, fast-moving camera shooting, audio-visual programs - Laterna Magica, Kinoautomat, multi-screens, dia-screens, multi-vision.
