For credit participation in discusssion and completion of online forms by which the student is evaluated by the panelists. Relationships of individual institutions to short-film issues.

Course contents:

Panel discussion on how (not) to shoot, project and broadcast short films in the Czech Republic. Is short film only a school exercise? Why have so called short films disappeared? Czech Television supports „shorties“? What does the Czech Film center do abroad? Why has the iShorts project started? What position does the State Cinema Fund take toward short format? Come and discuss the potential of short film.
