Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The aim of the lectures is to introduce principles of insurance and individual types of insurance in relation to the production of and audiovisual work.

Mode of study:

Lectures are designed to be unrestricted and connected to the knowledge of the students from individual concurrent courses, as well as the general knowledge of the students from individual study years. As a group, students are given a described issue with an emphasis on the analytical relationship among subjects. Subsequent conclusions arrived at by the students, under the guidance of the instructor, are compared with individual insurance programs and legal liabilities in managing workers.

1. Insurance theory

2. Insurance theory, description of basic insurance programs

3. Insurance theory in the fundamental application of insurance programs.

4. Analysis of fundamental insurance events and application of insurance programs to damages.

5. Unrestricted lectures intended for application of individual topics in practice.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Knowledge from individual concurrent courses as well as general knowledge from individual study years (Film Production 1 - 3).

Course contents:

The lectures are designed as free and are linked to the knowledge of the students from individual concurrent courses as well as general knowledge from individual study years. Collectively students apply this in describing issues with an emphasis on an anlysis of the relationships among individual subjects. Subsequently the conclusions the students come to under the guidance of the instructor are compared to individual insurance programs and obligations in managing employees under the law.

3. Insurance theory, basic application of insurance programs

4. Analysis of basic insurance events and application programs for arising damages.

5. Free lecture intended for the application of individual topics in practice.

Recommended or required reading:

The lecture cycle is conceived of as an application. The literature for individual topics is the Labor, Commercial and Civil Codes. Insurance conditions from selected insurers as an application of the Civil Code. Unfortunately there is no known literature devoted to the lecture topics.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Class attendance. Active approach in discussions with the instructor. Exam.
