Mode of study:

The method is a professional review of the most typical production and post-production capacities of image and sound post-production at Czech TV at Kavčí Hory. The introduction will take place in small groups of students (up to 5 people). If agreed, there may be also specialized topics - dubbing, virtual, music studio and others.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:
Course contents:

First, an approx. 8 hour oral presentation in the school.

A fundamental part of instruction will take place as structured excursions directly to Czech Television workplaces. This is because Czech Television has the most complex production line in its facilities.

We will trace the classical separation of the image and sound post-production.

Important is the introduction to the dislocation of individual workplaces, personal encounters with operating techniques, shift workers and dispatchers.

The principle is that the students cmay become workers at Czech Television, or co-producers or clients.

In any case a detailed knowledge of the facilities, including time and price relations will be advantageous.

Also interesting is the introduction to the important particulars of television production, that is, live broadcast.

This prestige production discipline will be demonstrated in programs such as Czech Lion, Sportsman of The Year, etc.

Presented will be image and sound post-production, film production using off-line technology /Lightworks/, color corrector DA VINCI, digital sound network Fairlight, a mixing table for sound in Dolby Digital, Final Cut, ProTools...the background sound studio.

Music direction, Transfer workplaces, Sound library and others according to student interests.
