Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Implementation of the study exercise whose aim is the adoption of the basic compositional processes in film narration.

Mode of study:

Implementation exercise.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Own subject-matter.

Course contents:

Students, based on a detaily prepared technical script (storyboard) shoot and edit a short etude containing fundamental composition procedures (parallel assembly, cross editing, transfer of object, application of axial rules, etc.). The exercise is executed with classic film technology (16mm) including editing and sound (one sound track).
