Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Students master conscientious work in analysis of film scenes in the creation of the technical screenplay with an idea of the future composition of the resulting film.

Mode of study:

Moderated discussions, analyses of media recorded samples.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Completion of the course „Grammar of Film Language I.“

Course contents:

While the first two semesters of the course deal with categories of expression in film language, the second two semesters concentrate on the method of using these options, with a focus on real practical examples.

D. Bordwell - Narration in the Fiction Film

Assessment methods and criteria:

70% participation in lectures.

Activity in lectures.

Completion of the final exam.
