Course contents:

A module to introduce students to basic and advanced work procedures of offline editing in Avid Media Composer; focusing on practical editing activities and an editing assistant in contemporary practice (conversion of 2K/4K rough material for offline, sound and image inventory, collaborating at the workstation for conforming, grading, mastering, VFX, etc.) This module is intended for Editing Dept. students (also, with prior approval, Camera Dept. students.)
