Research findings corresponding to the issue of whether people are still able to distinguish reality from fiction in audio-visual representations of reality and if they are able to critically review the presented sample. The main aim is to demonstrate that this distinction, for many reasons (which will presented in the workshop) impossible.

We are used to receiving an incredibly varied scale of diverse audio-visual mediation of „everything.“ Some appear authentic and other, at the start, belie their fictional world, nonetheless, both fundamentally, influence the perception of society.
In the lecture workshop students will be confronted with several sample cases where it will not be possible to recognize if it is real information or over time that information is shown to be false. No less its initial intention is based on fiction which cannot be changed.
