Acquainting students with filmmakers and their work as well as mediating considerations, professional procedures and implementation issues in their own work.

Screenings and subsequent discussions with the filmmakers.

Course contents:

The objective of this department seminar is to introduce students of editing, and students in other departments with an interest, to (not just) film figures and their work and to specific themes relating to visual and sound editing in film. Guests will include editors, sound engineers, camera people, artists and others.
