The workshops are intended to printing copies using special historical techniques (particularly by means of oil-print and gummi-print). Special part of the workshops will be devoted to working with the commercial liquid gelatine silver bromide emulsion.
It is assumed that the participants will use their own large format negatives (common processing). It is possible to use the negatives that were prepared via chemiography or via photogram as well. The positive photographic materials (oil-print and gummi-print) will be prepared by participants themselves by covering the sensitive emulsion on the graphic papers.
In a case of working with the photographic emulsion the attention will be paid to the gellages and especially to transferring gelatine silver photographic images on the various (/nonstandard) substrates.
- Mode of study:
-
Extent: 3 weekends. The schedule will be sent to students at the beginning of the semester.
- Prerequisites and co-requisites:
-
No prequisities.
