Accident, mistake, unintention

Acquainting students with the potential use of accidents (that is the intentional supression of artist's control) in art with an emphasis on the role of the apparatus; questions of automatism and unintention is essentially linked to the development of technical devices for cameras or gramophones (subconsciously, consciously and undesired human phenomena are at the ent of the 19th century ucovered and modeled just for those black-boxes, similar routine gestures and habits are understood as its own type of mechanization or automatization of human activity and processes). Contemporary art originates from many intense forms of interaction with an apparatus, playing with their programs and in a basic manner redefining the understanding (original) intentions and the relationship of free will and determinism itself.
