Students are introduced to the use of image material in memorial institutions.

The will result in a review of an assigned topic in 2 standard pages as a museum critique or review of a selected exposition.

Use of photo and Audio-visual material in expositions, manners of presentation, treatments

Exhibit material preventive conservation.

Instruction: commented tour of expositions, excursions to NTM.(National Technical Museum)

Lecturer CV: Petr Kliment was born in 1953 and graduated from Art photography study at FAMU. From 1983 to 1992 he worked as a curator in the photography and film technology dept. at NTM in Prague. In the following years he worked freelance dealing with primarily pre-printing preparations. From 1999 he has worked as the head of the photo dept. of the Jewish Museum in Prague. In 2003 he worked again at NTM in the photography and film technology dept. From 2013 he has worked at the head of the photography archive of the Czech Olympic Committee where he managed the Olympic multimedia library project focused on collecting and presenting Czech sport image documentation. The project was co-financed by funds from the Internation Olympic Committee. In 2013 to 2016 he has lead the NTM national expert team project Daguerreobase, co-financed by the European Committee. Currently he is a member of the expert team project „Historical Photography“ supported by the Czech Republic Ministry of Culture in the NAKI project. Petr Kliment is the curator of several permanent exposition focused on the history of photography and image media.
