This course is linked to lectures in the History of Photography 1 course, it is a discussion devoted to those topics and analyses of assigned subject writings.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Attendance: a maximum of 2 abscences per semester are permitted.

Participation: the student must have read the assigned readings before each class and discuss this in class.

Presentation: during the semester, each student presents an, approximately 15 minute paper - a critical commentary or interpretation of an assigned writing (not a summary)
