Mode of study:

The exhibition collection is understood as a collection of a minimum of 8 photos which create a compact whole. Aside from this, the student may submit another form of exhibition collection if it is considered justified.

A developed explication of the intended collection, is submitted to a selected instructor as the basis for acceptance for advising. Upon approval of the instructor to be the advisor of the exhibition collection, the student is required to inform their lead instructor of the topic to the secretary at the Photography Dept. The advisor, upon awarding credit in the index proclaims acquaintance with the students project and accepts the advising of the work.

Summer semester:

Systematic work on the exhibition collection with obligatory consultations over the development stages.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

The exhibition collection is the central part of the Summary exam of the given study year.

Course contents:

A student requests advising for their work from any of the Photography Dept. instructors. In the upper study years it is presumed that the exhibition collection arises, primarily, from the selected studio.

The exhibition collection represents the main work of the student in the study year which should demonstrate creative abilities acquired during study. The exhibition collection is the central part of the Summary and as subject of the Summary judged by an instructors' commission.

Considering that in the 3rd year the Summary collection may be subsequently submitted for the Bachelor's exam, the Summary exam is not separately graded, merely judged as fulfilling the task for the given academic year and through the Summary exam possibly closing out the study year.

The exhibition collection, if submitted by the student, is graded at the bachelor's exam. Accepting the collection at the Summary exam does not in any manner supersede the grading in the bachelor's exam where it need not even be accepted.
