The exercise purpose is to manage preparations, implementation and completion of the recording of a public concert.

The exercise purpose is to manage preparations, implementation and completion of a studio music recording.

Experience and knowledge from the previous music courses.
- Course contents:
-
A) Students when receiving assignments are introduced to the strategic microphone placement with the use of support microphones and manner of completing recording. During the recording of a concert they compare direct listening in the hall with the recording. A selected part of the recording is processed by the student and get an accompanying explication. The course is completed with a listening class.
B) The course is focused on practice in the preparation, implementation and processing of a studio recording of a chamber ensemble with the goal of verification of the influence of various microphone technique on the resulting sound.
