The aim of the module is to provide Editing Dept. students an overview of the contemporary potential of sound post-production, contribute to an improved understanding of the history of this area and assist in a smoother process in the creation of an audio-visual piece from the viewpoint of image and sound editing technology collaboration.

1. summarize potential transfer of sound data between the editing room and sound studio
2. technical concepts regarding sound post-production and transfer of sound data from the image editing and back
3. important steps which may subsequently ease the comprehensive creation of an audio-visual piece
4. the most frequent errors which occur in regular practice
5. basic potential of editing and organization of sound material in ProTools
6. examples of the technological potential and processes for the most simple to more complicated projects
