Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The exercise aim is the implementation of the sound elements of a more challenging AV piece in the application of diverse technology and one's artistic approach.

Mode of study:

The students work on the sound element of the exercise which includes the entire usual technological process in the creation of an audio-visual work.

First Phase: script study, consultations with the director and Sound Dept. instructor, preparations for shooting and the shooting itself in a determined environment (studio, exterior or real world).

In shooting the student, as the sound master, directs the work of their assistant as the microphone - usually a Sound Dept. student underclassman.

An inseparable part of the exercise is a written explication which must be submitted with the Audio-visual recording of the exercise. In the explication the student must demonstrate that along with talent for artistic activity, they have rational perspectives on professional issues, that they managed the task, not only in practie but is also able to describe their work, analyse, understand the foundations of the given issue and from experience derive general theory knowledge.
