Students acquire fundamental information regarding animated film screenwriting issues and creating first two literary based scripts.

Readings, moderated dramaturgy dialogues, Instruction activity, discussions, analyses of literary texts, analyses of animated films which are related to topics covered, collective dramaturgy.

1. General knowledge of the Literature and poetry.
2. Creative writing ability.
- Course contents:

The aim of this course is to acquire fundamental abilities, skills and knowledge for the creation of an animated film script. This procedes from the singular to the general, which means that the students acquire particular general knowledge based on their own work. A collective dramaturgy is used in the course.

Film presentations:
Jabloňová panna (Pojar), Archanděl Gabriel a paní Husa (Trnka), Špatně namalovaná slepice (Brdečka), O milionáři, který ukradl slunce (Miler) and other literary adaptations to animated film.
- Assessment methods and criteria:
-
A condition for successful completion of this course is the creation of a literary script for an animated film, which is an adaptation of an already existing literary base.
The script may not use dialogue nor commentary.
