The aim of the course is to introduce students to the storyboard creation process and practical try-out work with it.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Previous creative instruction, a general knowledge of film creation, particularly animation, ability to create one's own script.

Course contents:

After setting the subject matter and its elaboration into a screenplay the storyboard is the following stage of work in an animated film. The basics are needed for its completion. While working on it the creative styl, form, charater interplay, creation of surroundings, image and sound composition are clarified. The final form should be a storyboard with some kind of theoretical image of the future film.

Recommended or required reading:

Animated film and its script. Subject literature according to assignments.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Discussion participation, independence and creativity.
