FORMAT AND CONTENT:
2-day workshop
DAY 1
Module 1: A look in to the International market: global context
Module 2: Development chronology: creative aspects, legal and financial issues, marketing and distribution. The right steps to make a film in an International context.
Module 3: The rules in the international markets: creative team, producers, distributors, sales agents
The budget and the financial plan in an International context
DAY 2:
Module 1: Short documents: logline, synopsis, treatment and script (lecture and work on the participants´ projects)
Module 2: Packaging your project (lecture and work on the participants´ projects)
Module 3: The art of pitching: how to make a successful presentation.

Lecturer: Alessandra Pastore
Alessandra started her career in cinema industry working on the production of historical, social and current issues documentaries with Fabulafilm (Italy) from 2004 to 2011. Within Fabulafilm, Alessandra was also responsible for fund raising and the administration of the company.
Since 2008 she has been coordinating training programmes such as MAIA
Workshops (EU MEDIA Programme, since 2006), HERMES (Council of Europe, Eurimages, 2009), and the Director Across Borders Workshops (EuroEast Culture, 2012-13).
She works as development, production and co-production consultant for companies and institutions.
Alessandra regularly lectures on training initiatives in Italy and abroad.
