Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Course focuses on creative processes in photography. Students are guided for the duration of one-year course through the area of today photographic arts.

They deepen their knowledge of the field and work on minor projects as well as the big final one.

Mode of study:

Lecture, seminar.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

DSLR camera equipment.

Continuous work during the semester.

Course contents:

Mentor Workshop in creative photography.

Recommended or required reading:

Will be given during the semester.

Assessment methods and criteria:

Satisfactory attendance, submitting of the minor exercises on time.

Fall term assignments

1. Design of the photographic image

2. Series of photographs as an individual interpretation of the theme (not mere illustration). Emphasis is put on the ability to come up with an innovative solution to the given assignment. Conceptual work is recommended. A written explanation must be handed in prior to starting with the assignment
