Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The course aim is to acquaint students with fundamental production and post-production devices for audio-visual pieces.

4. Interactivity - physical computing using an Arduino card

Introduction to physical computing. Arduino card use.

Introduction to MaxMSP or PureData software

Student can work individually or in groups on one group project in which they create on computer a managed artefact using an Arduino microcontroller. Key, in the project, is an adequately constructed device considering the idea it is to be used for and conditions in which it will work, its function in real time and overall reliability.

5. Video mapping - (6 weeks), 4+6+4+6+4+6 hours. - Martin Blažíček

The aim of the course is the adoption of artistic principles in mapped projections, that is, projections on building surfaces. Students, during the course, are acquainted with the basic principles and devices for mapping projections. Course graduates manage mapping production preparations, demonstrate independent implementation of all phases of a mapping project: preparing animation bases, geometry corrections, projection installation. A basic knowledge of working with graphics (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe AfterEffects, Final Cut Pro) is required.

Mode of study:

Forma obecné explikace následovaná aktivní
, dialogickou prací u počítače na základě konkrétních materiálů a příkladů.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Recommended for all students, required in the 2nd year.

5. Video mapping - (6 weeks), 4+6+4+6+4+6 hours - Martin Blažíček

The course aim is the adoption of creative principles of projection mapping, that is, projections on the surface of a building. Students, during the course, are acquainted with the basic principles and devices for mapping projections. Course graduates manage mapping production preparations, demonstrate independent implementation skills in all phases of creating mapped projections; preparations of animation backgrounda, geometry corrections, projection installations. Note:
