Learning outcomes of the course unit:

1. To introduce students to the inter-discipline forms of art in studio surroundings equipped with audio-visual technology.

2. Independent work on one's project in which the Multimedialaboratory space and technology may be used.

Mode of study:

The classes start at 12:45 in the Intermedia Institute spaces.Fakulta elektrotechnická, ČVUT v Praze, Technická 2, Praha 6 - Dejvice, Halové laboratoře, dveře H1-25.

1. 60 min. Lecture according to program curriculum.

2. 30 min. Student team project topic discussion

3. 15 min. break

4. 90 min. Independent work under the guidance of the project consultant (experiments, tests related to the project).

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

General knowledge of the history of audio-visual technology

Ability to work in a team.

Able to work independently.

Course contents:

The aim of the course is the creation of one inter-disciplinary platform in which the available technology and creation on offer to AMU, VSUM and CVUT. Orientation in the possible concepts and approaches.

Appropriate for FAMU, DAMU and HAMU students.

Intermedia art and technology is an inter-study collaboration among AMU faculties, VŠUP and Electrotechnical Faculty of ČVUT, which is to provide participants the opportunity to experience new fields which are a part of audiovisual art and communications in relation to modern computer technology.
