To introduce the history and basic theory of exhibiting graphic arts, including photography, video and other forms of the moving image.
To discuss current exhibition treatments visited during excursions.
To point out possible technical procedures used in exhibiting.
To prepare students in working with individual elements of an exhibit presentation.

Classroom lecture weeks focused on history alternate with weeks in which there will be visits to previously determined exhibitions accompanied by the instructor and exhibit curator.

- Assessment methods and criteria:

Student have two options for grading:
1. To write a paper of at least 5 standard pages analysing the exhibit prior approved by the instructor from an installation viewpoint.
2. Participation in a GAMU workshop from 30, Aug - 11 Sept. in which the „recycled“ and preinstalled exhibit will be repeated.
