Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The aim is to motivate students in dicussions providing them with guidance in conversations over a variety of topics. This will help consolidate their speaking and other skills.

Mode of study:

A range of topics primarily practicing speaking skills. Reading and listening skills may also be included.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Minimum B1 (CERF) level required.

Course contents:

Instruction includes reading, listening, writing and primarily speaking practice. Topics are diverse and vocabulary and grammar elements are included.

Credit is awarded based on:

class attendance (min. 75%)

class participation

In class presentation

All three elements are considered for the award of credit. The attendance and in-class presentation are required for credit.
