Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Mastery of basic nimbleness skills in acrobatics, martial movements and clowning with an object.

Mode of study:

Regular weekly instruction

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

No requirements.

Course contents:

Exercises with the emphasis on coordination, elasticity, and conditioning, with light transition into movement theatre.

Exercising skills adding to the development of the movement and nerve muscular system. Methodology oriented classes. Dynamic exercises- falls,casts, handsprings, somersaults, rolls, flips.

Static exercises- balanced posture, sit-ups, kneeling.

Group exercises- Final result will be to attain basic ability in acrobatic jumps with application to theatre, dance, and film uses.
