Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The aim is to open new horizons, potential in viewing the world from another angle - from a boat, the top of a cliff.... . This it the difference.

Connecting students of AMU schools in this course provides the opportunty for a direct glimpse in to the issues of other studies and joining further professional collaboration. This non-traditional environment and week-long experience is for the majority an ideal situation.

Mode of study:

Instruction in theory and practice. Everything necessary for secure movement in calm and wild waters. Movement and staying in the outdoors, among cliffs.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Desire to learn, experience.

Knowing how to swim is an advantage but not a requirement.

Course contents:

A traditional boating course on the Vltava (Moldau) expanded to a climbing on a climbing wall and natural cliffs, white-water rafting, cultural activities in Českém Krumlov, at Zlata Koruna, etc.
