Learning outcomes of the course unit:

- The study aim is to acquaint students with theatre technology (focusing on stage lighting design) with a focus on contemporary dace and movement theatre

- The course prepares students to collaborate with the technological part of the team in preparing their own performance.

- The course prepares students for implementing a inter-discipline project in technology and ance and collaborative preparations in IIM ( ČVUT and AMU shared workspaces)

- Development of artistic imagination and aesthetics, investigating one's own visual originality.

Mode of study:

Video screenings, lecture, theatre visits, galleries, practice classes.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

_ základy scénického světelného designu (technologické názvosloví, světelné zdroje, kategorie světla aj.)

_ videoprojekce nebo návštěva současných multidisciplinárních projektů (divadelních představení) a jejich rozbor

_ scénické možnosti současnosti, nové technologie (řízení světel a audio/video/ signálu a jejich využití)

Course contents:

- Fundamentals of stage lighting design (technical terminology, light sources, light categories, etc.)

- Video screenings or visits to contemporary multi-disciplinary projects (theatre performances) and their analysis

- Contemporary stage potential, new technology (managing lights and audio/video signals and their use)
