The course aim is to further develop and expand history knowledge in the development of dance culture from the bachelor's study focusing on a detailed knowledge of component topics.

Required: comletion of history lectures in the bachelor's study in Dance research and its fundamentals.
- Course contents:

The course content originates in the lectures registered for the given school year. These are lectures in Dance in Religion and Philosophy, History of Dance Music and Development of Theatre Dance of the 17th and 18th centuries. For a detailed syllabus see those courses. Lectures in Dance in Religion and Philosophy are designed as a presentation of the historical development of the relationship of dance and religion from ancient times through individual significant antique belief systems to today's existing religions. Particular attention is paid to the place of dance in Christian beliefs and their changes. The place of dance in religions rites and relationship of the given religion to dance expressed in theory discourse is also covered.
