The module is appropriate for all the students. The work for the seminar will be modified according to the specializations of the participants.

Lecture (just intonation as well as equal division of octave) – rudiments of the theory, historical context, practical demonstrations.
Assignment for the seminar: modified according to the specialization of the individual participants (performance, music theory, composition, operatic or music directing, sound engineering) such as analysis of the chosen tuning features, its melodic and harmonic potential, demonstrated on a fragment of own composition, electronic or acoustic realization, possibilities of microtonal performance on a specific musical instrument.
