Curriculum:
1. Authenticity and improvization.
2. Theatrical behavior and actions.
3. Perceiving dramatic space and handling mise en scene.
4. Dialogic character and partnership interplay.
5. Creative starting of a dramatic situation.
6. Stylization in various genres and poetic modes.
7. Principles of the structured building of a theatrical character.
Syllabus:
The starting off dramatic situations develops the ability to improvise and authentic action in given circumstances. Students are led to perceive dramatic space and to a creative handling of mise en scene in accordance with the production genre. During their studies they deepen their ability to engage in dialogue and partnership interplay. The students familiarize themselves with various dramatic genres, theatrical poetic modes and kinds of verse in drama, and especially with blank verse. This systematic preparation climaxes with the independent creation of a theatrical character in an integral theatrical form.

- Assessment methods and criteria:

Graded is participation in all class hours, acceptance and creative development of assignments, inspired collaboration, sense of dramatic situation and purposeful action, peripheral grades of meaning, truthfulness and authenticity. Grading is significantly influenced by the artistic results at the Summary exam.
