Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Testing one's abilities and skills, discovered in the theatre anthropology class on video-recording examples of an acting ensemble of the so called second theatre reform. The aim is personal and group creativity experience and one's discovery of what supports it and what prevents it; development of perception, empathy and ability to articulate one's impulses into expression: communcation, sharing, understanding.

Mode of study:

The development of the first experience. Approximately a week of intensive (8 hours/day) acquaintance with various types of movement, vocal and comprehensive exercises which develop original potential: internal and external perception of impulses, ability in being aware of the potential interplay of one's impulses with group impulses. Manners of direct expression captured in a repeated form and further development and refinement in improvised movement and eventually movement dialogues. The workshop differs inthe makeup of the group. it always contains practical and review group, individual and pair exercises

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

The workshop may be attended by those who have completed at least one semester of theatre anthropology and is willing to participate completely in a workshop (without missing a class).

Course contents:

The workshop is to verify and refine student ideas about what creativity is and how to recognize it. To expand and form it so it is communicated and assists in the integration of personal talents and the current creative group.
