A comprehension of the sense and structure in the interpretation of various types of verse (alexandrin, blankvers, etc.) and various poetry forms (sonnet, Willions Ballad, etc.).

This course is linked to Speech Training, completion of at least 2 semester required, independent preparations at home included.
- Course contents:

According to need and experience of independent students we will cover verse writings from the „simplest“ (supported by narrative) to the „complex“ (without plot support). We attempt discover the motoized events (Jan Mukařovský) in verse of individual poets and find in the poem themselves instructions for interpretation.
