Learning outcomes of the course unit:

To present students the occupations of scriptwriting, costuming, make-up and their roles in the creation of a film. Presentation of film effects, set design, costuming, prop master....

Emphasis on the collaboration from the beginning of project preparations - the set designer can significantly assist in the creation of the directing concept, dramaturgy, selection of location, shooting, color... The costumer and make-up artist influence the character, casting, drama events; the technical, the view and dynamics of shooting.

The group project presents collaboration as it is should be in practice; what the occupations should know about each other's work and respect it; what kind of time to devote each other in preparations.

Mode of study:

Attendance at all instruction.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

None.

Course contents:

ONDŘEJ NEKVASIL

1) Art department - hierarchy; function.

2) Studio development - natural lighting, sound, artificial lighting.

3) Project - assignment.

JINDŘICH KOČÍ

1) Abiltiy to read from drawings, 3D visualizations, Sketch-up application.

2) Studio construction, implementation.

3) WORKSHOP structure, texture, 3 instruction hours:

- in collaboration with painting and kaser workshops students attempt to produce structured panels - stucco, walls, tiles, wallpaper....

- they take the panels which will be used in the studio for various types of backgrounds.
