Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Introduce the current state of the profession and its current trends and, as well, various approaches and methods of drama training. Compare personal experience with opinions of drama training students with that of other higher education institutions and that of the instructor in practice. To introduce in working in workshops and seminars with other personalities from the profession including foreign professors. To introduce the sense and concepts of key educational events reflecting and influencing the profession.

Mode of study:

Active participation in state-wide workshops and courses. Monitoring of presented reviews. Analysis and interpretations of presentations and theatre methods with children. Discussion.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Personal experience in performing drama training practice - subsequent to the „Praxe“ course. Monitoring the professional periodical „Tvořivá dramatika“.

Course contents:

The workshop activity lies in active participation in the second-most significant annual even in drama education, the state-wide Drama-education in Schools. Part of the event is an overview of children's ensembles a recitation performances, courses, and primarily workshops focusing on drama education in instruction and its various forms and potential.

1. Participation in one of the practical workshops

2. Active participation in analysis and other seminars.

3. Reflecting upon children's ensemble theatre and educational events at reviews and the whole event.
