9-10:00 - FITES - Czech Film and Television Union FITES, z.s.
On the 30th of Nov, 1965 the consitutional meeting of the Czechoslovak Film and Television Union FITES took place, allowing the union and representation of working artists in film and television. After the occupation of Czechoslovakia by Warsaw Pact forces the Union was disbanded in the normalization. Its activities were renewed after 1989. Regular members of the Czech film and television union FITES, z.s. may be any working artist in audio-visual arts in the Czech Republic, taking part in a decisive manner in the creation of film or television pieces, as well as important theoreticians, instructors and critics in film and television. The requirement for membership is an above-average qualty of competed artistic work or long-term meritous artistic activities which provides a garantee that the membership of the applicant will contribute to the work of the union. The produces a quarterly FITES, the next being the 79th, organizes the audiovisual awards ceremony TRILOBIT BEROUN which in 2017 will be the 30th, publishes the magazine Synchron, and meets with institutions and takes stands regarding legislation and other issues in audiovisual and society fields.
10-11:00 - Acting Associations
On 11.2.1990 at the Prague Vinohradska Theatre was the general constitutional meeting of the newly formed Acting Association. The priority of the AA remains the maintaining of the traditional quality of the acting profession and defending against profiteering. Of course, the is also the securing full membership of our AA in the international context, the world acting organization FIA.
11-12:00 - AČK - Czech Cameraman Association
The Czech Cameraman Association is an independent professional organization joining those who wish to actively take part in the carrying out of their mission. It has been an equal partner of other artistic organizations, professional unions and union organizations since 1992.
12-13:00 - APA - Audiovisual Producers Association
The Audiovisual Producers Association was founded in 1994 and unionizes producers and production companies in Czech feature, documentary and animated film as well as film services, advertisement and television. The main aim of the association activities is the protection and advancement of producer interests, meeting with professional unions, copyright protection organizations or state management organs.
14-15:00 - ARAS - Association of Directors and Scriptwriters
We were created in 2001 to join Czech directors and scriptwriters active in film and televsion. We wish to develop the rights of our members to create better conditions for professional practice. We fully join in the cultural space of the Czech Republic in order to respond to the EU in intensive collaboration with FERA.
15-16:00 - APZ - Soundmen Association
The Soundmen Association was founded on 28.8.1990 as a professional organization joining those working with sound in film, dubbing, television and theatre. The aim is to raise the prestige of sound work, work with other professional organizations and take part in the maintainance of the quality of sound work. Another aim of the APZ is to help members protect their rights in working relationships with employers.
16-17:00 - AFS - Association of Film Editors
The Association of Film Editors has sought to elevate the level of editing in order to better Czech audiovisual culture as a whole since 2014
