Learning outcomes of the course unit:

Experience with the documentary film shooting process from beginning to end: idea and preparations for shooting, imagining the completed film, actual shooting and comparing idea with reality, editing, evaluation: does the idea look like the result? Condensed experience which the students experience during the production of their semester film.

Mode of study:

Documentary Film Dept. Module instruction -for only first-year bachelor study students - work with shooting material which the 1st year Documentary Film Dept. students produced as an extraordinary assignment.

„ANTI-TASK“ - AWARENESS OF ONE'S LIMITS AND ABILITY TO INTEGRATE THIS AS THE EPICENTER OF A PIECE

First-year Documentary Film Dept. students shot a film about the 2018 presidential elections.The main task was, aside from going through all steps of film production and „anti-task“, was to tailor it to the student. What aspect of the film production process can be slowed down? The student must wade in these waters. Aside from getting into all steps in the production of a documentary film, this also included a peek into and brush with one's own limits. Is this not t he epicenter of an artist's energie? The module will work with material already shot and the experience gained. This covers the final evaluation phase.
