Course contents:

Three meetings (divided into three independent modules) about artistic creativity with the possibility of looking behind the curtain of everyday visible relationships - working with subconscious processes.

The first meeting (Friday 24.11. 10:00 - 17:00, Documentary Dept. 217) will be devoted to case studies of original works and uncovering the story which the piece tells us. There will be the opportunity to look at how so called „projection screens“ function and how much information we learn about ourselves through this creation.

In the second meeting (Friday, 6. 10:00 - 17:00, Documentary Dept.217) we will work with our own originality potential which we can expand if we recognize well our own concious and subconscious motives. We can test how we understand it; what attracts us, calls to us and is beyond us in creating. We gain a solid image of how to fulfil our ideas about a piece. The second study meeting brings to the students the opportunity to see orginal works from non-traditional perspectives. Through a supervised analytical view at pieces we have a glimpse of the emotional link between a piece and one's internal hiddent motives. The original work is understood as a projection screen of our own psyche. If we wish to realize our full talent and be successful, it is important to grasp what manner of creation influences our subconscious and what topics reflect our surroundings. We can, in practice, test what really attracts, calls and is beyond us. We receive a solid image of how to fulfil our idea about a piece.

Three meetings (if interested - a weekend in May) take place as two-day experiental meetings in the wild area of the Czech Switzerland National Park. The surroundings of the sandstone cliffs, moss and ferns will be the studio and creativity will take place in day and night of the countryside. Aside from the great experience related to the artistic self-expression, we also gain a glimpse of the function of one's own creative day. Part of this meeting will be the opportunity to use supervisory support in creativity, and primarily in the understanding of the emotional links between one's piece and one's core.

The program may be completed in parts. It best functions if all three parts are completed.
