Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The module aim is to introduce FAMU students to the partner film school (National Film School in Lodž), student work and current trends and issues in partner countries in the film industry, illustrated by instructors from the partner school.

Mode of study:

Completion of film screenings at Cinema Světozor and subsequent on-day lectures on the workshop/discussion.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

A short review to be completed with B. Blaustein.

Course contents:

The aim of the module is to introduce FAMU students to the work of Barry W. Blaustein and a workshop with him on screenwriting.

In other parts of the module is an introduction to the partner film school (National Film School in Lodž), its students' creations and current trends and issues in partner countries in the film industry, illustrated by instructors from the partner school. There will be a lecture based on the workshop/discussions and film screenings in Cinema Světozor.
