Study and analysis of assigned texts, moderated and non-moderated discussions, lectures, presentation of instructor experience.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Successfull completion of „Audiovisual Distribution I and II“ and „Distributing of Audiovisual Works and Contemporary Distribution 1“

Course contents:

The focus of the classes are previously established only on the fundamental series of topics but partial supplementation of these depends on the activity and focus of the students themselves. In discussion, students focus on some partial issues in the field which they feel are the most important for their future careers.

Course content:

1. The newest trends in the film market and distribution to cinemas around the world.

2. The newest trends in the film market and distribution to cinemas in the Czech Republic

3. Home Media Entertainment - new trends in distributing Audio-visual pieces into home and for private users. Current forms of copyright protection.

4. Novelties in public support and the legal environment in the Czech Republic and the European Union. The role of SFK, NFA, ČFK, APA, UFD, APK, etc.
