Learning outcomes of the course unit:

The outcome of the model is a written essay- analysis of Warhol / Warhola exhibition in Prague and one creative work of art inspired by pop art (photography, video, installation…)

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Orientation in basic directions and trends of fine art and cinema art of the second half of the 20th century is expected for a successful termination of this module.

Course contents:

Introduction into life and work of Andy Warhol, an artist who was working in a very wide range of creative expression. Within this model, a strong emphasis has been put on Warhol’s east-slovakian origin and its influence on his work.
